Herding Competition  -  Hongrie

Herding Competition in Hungary At begining of the Spring, the Hungarians hold the first herding competition in Székesfehérvár, on 2nd of April. There were more then 40 dogs, in several breeds. Nice weather, good atmosphere characterized the event.

Before the competition was a herding instinct test, the dogs who got adequate titles, could enter to the amateur class, right now. The competition were in four category from the absolut beginners to the professional class. All class winners were Border Collies. The other breeds were: German Sheperd, Australian Sheperd, Bearded Collie, Rough Collie, Beauceron, Malinois, Pumis, Kelpies, and mix dogs.

The competition was organised by the Hungarian Club for all Sheepdogs.

The amateur class winners were: Szilvia Szeibert, with Csóványospataki Vinni (BC) 46 points (from 50), 2nd Melinda Polonyi, with Borderguard Hazard (BC) 42points, 3rd Mónika Németh with Japanise Girl at Real Pearl (BC) 39 points.

The beginner class winners were: Katalin Szilvás with Flash Dance of Forestry Farm (BC) 50 points, 2nd Barbara Kiss with Sparrow (Kelpie) 49 points, 3rd Barbara Kiss with Cyber (Kelpie) 49 points.

The advanced class winner is Maria Kukkonen with Tut-Astra, (BC) 85 points (max is 100) 2nd Katalin Szilvás with Flower of Old Hill Alfred (BC) 75 points, 3rd Sarolta Leczki with Cuba Vondorlatos (Malinois), 71 points.

The Profi class winner is Evelin Balássy with Poseidon Karina (BC) 96points, 2nd Maria Kukkonen with Morten (BC) 82points, 3rd is Hajnalka Kökényesi with Borderguard Anne Marie (BC) 75points.
